Industrial crushers

Frequently Asked Questions

CRUNCHY COMPACT
Here are the Most Frequently Asked Questions

HOW BIG IS IT AND HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH?

The machine has a weight of 150 kg fully equipped and can be dismantled.
The very small dimensions allow them to easily fit inside lifts and move under house doors, the rubber wheels absorb vibrations by not transmitting them to the floor.
The crushing chamber is equipped with 4 attachment points so that it can be lifted with chains if it needs to be pulled to the floor.

HOW NOISY IS IT?

The machine is not noisy and, since it uses an electric motor, it moves on bearings.
The noise depends on the material that is placed inside the machine: if we crush tufa, the noise is very low, but if we crush porcelain stoneware or travertine, the noise increases, but even under the worst conditions the noise never exceeds the levels of other machines such as the whisk or other tools  normally used on construction sites for demolition.

WHAT IS THE INVERTER FOR?

Protects the motor from any faults on the mains.

Increase speeds of the machine's crushing speed (from 1400 rpm to 1680 rpm), thus being able to crush more material.

Eliminates cooling pauses of the motor as the standard version (without inverter) needs a 10 to 15 minute break every 50 minutes to cool the motor.

CAN I REUSE THE CRUSHED MATERIAL?

Crushing the material, depending on the case, could make a Reuse directly on site.
The material must be selected and must not contain hazardous materials.
When demolition materials are brought in off siteby law means that it has been decided to discard it, so it must be sent to landfill for recycling.
For further information, we advise you to consult all the regulatory references contained in Legislative Decree No 152 of 3 April 2006 - SINGLE ENVIRONMENTAL TEXT.

WHAT SIZE OF CRUSHED MATERIAL DOES IT PRODUCE?

You can set 6 different settings of the machine.
The smallest size ranges from 0 to 8 mm the largest size goes from 0 to 25 mm.

HOW MUCH MATERIAL CAN IT CRUSH?

It depends on the material to be shredded, but at an average opening we can process approx. 1 sqm/h of mixed material.

WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE CRUSHING MOUTH?

The crushing mouth is 13 X 30 cmTherefore, the material to be inserted cannot be larger than this size.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU CRUSH?

Crunchy Compact can be used volume reduction and the reuse of demolition materials such as rubble, tuff, bricks, tiles, porcelain stoneware, pieces of travertine and concrete.
The machine shreds almost all materials found in a demolition, should not be used for marble and basalthas no problem crushing concrete travertine porcelain stoneware

CAN I BREAK UP THE PLASTERBOARD?

Although it is not really designed for that, the machine can split the cardboard from the gypsum by setting the opening to the minimum, but logically we cannot expect a volume of 1 sqm/h for this type of crushing.

HOW MUCH DOES THE SINGLE-PHASE MACHINE DRAW?

The machines are always single-phase in both standard and inverter versions and have a motor of 2.2 kWTherefore, they can be connected directly to a 3 kW meter, which is the minimum that can be found in the home.

WHAT IS THE SIEVE FOR?

The sieve with autonomous motor-vibrator and powered directly from the machine's electrical panel can separating the crushed material in two grain sizes depending on the mesh being fitted.
The networks are interchangeable and have a hole size of 3,5,8 or 10 mm Therefore, using a 5 mm net, material from 0 to 5 mm will be divided and material above 5 mm.

In this way, if you want to obtain all material below 5 mm, you only have to reinsert the coarsest fraction of material into the machine.

WHAT IS THE RAPIER FOR?

The spreader clamp is used for keep open the bag where the crushed rubble will go.

WHAT IS THE INTAKE PLENUM USED FOR?

It is used for vacuum the dust formed in the crushing of the material so that it is also possible to work in flats with closed windows or little air circulation.

YOU HAVE A CAR MORE BIG?

Crunchy PLUSHowever, it is not suitable for use inside homes as it has a weight of about 550 kg without an outfeed conveyor belt, a 3-phase 4.00 kW power supply and a working volume of 4 to 6 square metres per hour.

Crunchy BOB, a crusher shovel with hydraulic motor that can be used on vehicles over 30 ql has a working volume of approx. 6 sqm/h.

IS IT COVERED BY THE TAX CREDIT AND 4.0 ?

As far as the tax credit is concerned, there are no problems and it varies depending on the region where it is claimed, whereas it is not covered by 4.0.
